We’re a small, women-led company tucked in the corner of Quezon City, who believes in giving back, especially to the real stars of this month: the lolas of the Golden Gays Manila.
WHO ARE THE GOLDEN GAYS?
The Golden Gays are a group of elderly gay men, many of whom were performers and advocates during their younger years. It was established in the mid 1970’s by LGBT rights activist and columnist Justo Justo, for the elderly and homeless gays. They formed a chosen family— supporting one another through old age, especially when many of them were abandoned or left without support.
As part of our Pride Month celebration, we are supporting “Para sa mga Lolang Bakla”, an ongoing advocacy campaign that uplifts the lives of our elderly LGBTQIA+ community. This initiative aims to raise awareness, support, and visibility for the often-overlooked lolas who paved the way for many in the LGBTQIA+ movement.
Lola, Buhay, Bakla!
Don’t miss “Lola, Buhay, Bakla!”, a heartfelt participatory documentary series that captures the everyday stories, struggles, and joys of the Golden Gays. Co-developed with the lolas themselves, this series highlights their resilience, humor, and vibrant personalities—reminding us all that Pride doesn’t age.

Let’s continue to celebrate Pride by honoring our lolas and standing in solidarity with them—not just this month, but every day.
We’re holding a garage sale, where part of the proceeds will go to the Golden Gays. We’re also offering FREE coworking space for the whole day and FREE snacks for all our coworkers and visitors.
